The company began with 3 trucks, three drivers, and one terminal in Pittsburgh. In 1982, PITT OHIO opened its second terminal in Cleveland, Ohio and have continued to open terminals in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. PITT OHIO Truckload, powered by ECM Transport, was formed in 2005 when PITT OHIO acquired a majority interest in ECM Transport, LLC, a truckload company also located in the Pittsburgh area.
